Painting exhibition of seven artists inaugurated at Nehru Art Gallery

The Public Relations Department of SAIL-Bhilai Steel Plant, in collaboration with the Town Services Department, organized a exhibition of paintings created by seven artists of the steel city on December 15, 2022, at the Nehru Art Gallery at the Civic Center, Indira Place. The exhibition was inaugurated by Shri Tapan Sutradhar, Executive Director (Mines & Raoghat) of the plant by lighting the lamp in the presence of Executive Director (Personnel & Administration) Shri MM Gadre and other guests.

A group exhibition of paintings made by Ms. Evani Srivalli, Ms. S. Jayalakshmi, Ms. Nisha Das, Ms. Ganga Chakradhari, Ms. Aastha Agrawal, Ms. Nandita Rajshree and Mr. Lalit Agrawal is exhibited in this three-day painting exhibition. In this exhibition, 60 oil paintings made by these artists have been displayed. These paintings have a beautiful combination of nature, landscape, portrait and abstract artwork. The best combination of colors is also seen in the pictures of the exhibition.

This exhibition will be open for public viewing from 15 to 17 December 2022 from 5.30 to 8.30 every day.

On this occasion, Chief General Manager (Town Services & CSR) Mr. SV Nandanwar, General Manager (Liaison, Administration and Public Relations) Mr. Jacob Kurian, General Manager (Personnel) Mr. H. Shekhar, General Manager (HRD) Mr. Amulya Priyadarshi, General Manager (Public Relations) Mr. Prashant Tiwari along with, other senior officials of the plant, artists, and office bearers of Arts Club Bhilai and art loving citizens of steel city were present in large numbers. Former Executive Director (Personnel) of SAIL and Director (Personnel & Administration) of Shipping Corporation of India Mr. SPS Jaggi was especially present on the occasion.
